RealNex Brings 3D Virtual Reality to Their Property Listing MarketPlace

Posted by RealNex on Feb 14, 2019 8:00:00 AM

Stafford, TX February 14, 2019- RealNex and its Virtual Reality partner Pix have just announced another first for the CRE industry, 3D Virtual Reality property listings.  RealNex MarketPlace now enables any user to more effectively present and differentiate their listing with an integrated 3D VR model. Like the rest of RealNex MarketPlace, these listings and the models can be viewed in any web browser or on any mobile device.

“We are always seeking new ways to bring value to our clients and help them work smarter and faster as the technology behind the deal.  Recent studies have shown that conversion rates are three times higher when properties are marketed using virtual reality,” said Jeff Finn, RealNex CEO.  “Given our partnership with Pix announced at the end of 2018, integrating their models in the MarketPlace has been a high priority for us.”

This latest advance by Pix and RealNex overcomes the previous constraints on 3D VR usage of high cost, vast bandwidth requirements and expensive hardware needed to deliver and consume the medium.  Pix has a range of solutions to assist clients market space and make space utilization decisions more effectively, while supporting various use cases and budgets.

The most recent product, QuickTour ™, is an extremely affordable solution which converts a 2-D floor plan into a virtual environment.  These models allow for the presentation of new or proposed buildings or spaces to the market and are readily incorporated into property listings. RealFit™ allows clients to configure any space in real time, adding walls, furniture and finishes to assure suitability.  This solution can take weeks or months out of the leasing cycle and save thousands of dollars.  PropertyMax™ envisions new projects or redevelopment opportunities with a photo realistic level of detail and a host of functions to enable real world, multi-party exploration and immersion in a to-be-built environment.  These models can be utilized from the pre-planning and approvals stage through asset management, including assistance with capital raising.

Taken either individually or in combination, the new suite of 3D Virtual Reality solutions are designed to streamline marketing, enhance visualization, facilitate decision-making and compress deal cycle times.

“We are extremely excited about the positive impact the integration of Pix 3D VR with the RealNex platform will bring to our users,” noted Mark Kingston, Chairman of both companies, “We believe a Pix model is worth a thousand pictures.  Delivering 3D property listings to the market is another major step in our efforts to bring greater transparency and efficiency to the real estate industry and we believe it will augment client performance and marketplace liquidity.”
